Expiree is an expiry date tracker for food, medicine, cosmetics, household items, and other things you want to use on time.

Privacy and simplicity are core principles of this App. We do not collect personal data, we do not track users, and we do not store item data on external servers.

3. Data Stored by the App

3.1 Items, Categories & Expiry Dates (Local Storage)

  • The App stores item names, categories, expiry dates, quantities, notes, and related reminder settings.
  • This data is stored locally on your device in the App’s private storage.
  • We do not upload or synchronize this data to any server.

3.2 App Settings

  • Preferences such as theme, language, sorting, categories, notification options, and display settings are stored locally.
  • These settings are never transmitted to us.

3.3 Personal Data

Expiree does not require your name, email address, phone number or any personally identifiable information.

We do not collect, process or store personal data on our servers.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request certain permissions only when required for specific features.

  • Camera (optional): Used to take photos of items or scan barcodes.
  • Photos/Media (optional): Used to select images for items.
  • Notifications (optional): Used to remind you about upcoming expiration dates.

All permissions are optional and can be controlled via your device settings.

No permission data is transmitted to external servers.

5. Third-Party Services

Expiree does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking frameworks or crash reporting services.

The App works fully offline and does not require internet connectivity for its core functionality.

  • We do not share user data with third parties.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • All data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the App, or clear its storage.
