1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Brelax mobile application (“the App”), developed and operated by Indie Apps Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Brelax is a breathing and relaxation application designed to help users reduce stress, improve focus and develop healthy breathing habits using guided breathing sessions, calming animations and progress tracking with Calm Points.

The App is intended for general wellness and relaxation purposes only and does not provide medical, therapeutic or professional healthcare services.

3. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

The content and features of Brelax are provided for general informational and wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, mental health concerns or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced in this App.

If you experience dizziness, discomfort, anxiety, shortness of breath, chest pain or any other concerning symptoms while using the App, stop the session immediately and seek medical advice.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your local law) to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Do not attempt to misuse, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise interfere with the App.
  • Do not use the App in a way that could damage, disable or impair its functionality.
  • Follow all safety instructions and recommendations provided within the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design elements, animations, graphics, code, trademarks, logos and branding associated with Brelax are the exclusive property of Indie Apps Lab or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense or create derivative works based on the App or any part of it.

7. Calm Points, Progress and Virtual Achievements

The App includes a virtual progress and reward system based on Calm Points, streaks, levels and achievements.

  • Calm Points and achievements have no real-world monetary value.
  • They cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or services.
  • We reserve the right to modify, rebalance, reset or remove virtual progress systems at any time.

8. Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to the App, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, update or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indie Apps Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indie Apps Lab from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
